  • It is a makeshift refugee camp built amidst the central square of Westmarch as the Reapers attack the rest of the city, in front of the Zakarum Cathedral. Basically, it is a center of operations against the Reapers in Westmarch, where most of the survivors encountered by the Nephalem eventually evacuate. The Enclave is flooded with refugees, many of whom form separate storylines. Notable examples include a mother driven mad by her child left behind, a story of a deserter and a girl he saved, a preaching madman worshiping Malthael (eventually disappearing with his followers), an arrogant nobleman and his wife trying to buy their way out of the city, and many more. Throughout the Campaign, they all develop and change their dialogue for the player to overhear or ask directly. Some NPCs only appear in the Enclave after their respective side quests are completed in the field. Access to Musty Cellar (Sounds in the Cellar event) appears briefly in the northern part of the zone (to the south from Diadra's table).
