| - Queen's Park Circle is a small ring road in downtown Toronto that encircles the Ontario Legislative Building (home of the provincial government), its grounds, and a park to the north—:the Queen's Park that gives its name to the road. (The Ontario Legislative Building is also colloquially known as Queen's Park.) Traffic on Queen's Park Circle runs north on its eastern side, Queen's Park Crescent East, and runs south on its western side, Queen's Park Crescent West. To the south of the grounds of the provincial Legislative Building, the roads join just north of College Street, and continue south under the name University Avenue. This is a broad straight road, affording a fine northward vista of the Legislature. Several hospitals are found on either side of University Avenue—so much so, indeed, that its northern portion is sometimes called "Hospital Row".
