David Matsos (born November 12, 1973 in Burlington, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He is currently an assistant coach with the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League. He played junior hockey for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 1989 to 1993. Undrafted by any NHL team, Matsos joined the Canadian national team. On May 16, 1996, after winning a silver-medal with Canada at the 1996 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships, the Tampa Bay Lightning signed Matsos, as a free agent, to a multi-year contract.

Undrafted by any NHL team, Matsos joined the Canadian national team. On May 16, 1996, after winning a silver-medal with Canada at the 1996 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships, the Tampa Bay Lightning signed Matsos, as a free agent, to a multi-year contract. Matsos played two seasons for the Adirondack Red Wings and one for the Hamilton Bulldogs and then left for Europe. There he spent two seasons in Germany and five in Great Britain. He retired in 2006. Matsos was the head coach of the Sheffield Steelers in 2007-08.
