Seine Mutter ist die Kuh Khaing Hnin Hnin und der Vater ist Calvin. Er spielte gerne mit seinen größeren Schwestern Califa und Farina oder mit Brüderchen Shanti. Auch Tarak war früher ein kleiner Klettermaxe, der unter den wachsamen Augen seiner Schwestern jede Säule und auch jedes schlafende Herdenmitglied erklomm. Dann ärgerte er lieber die Kühe, meistens Manari oder Sayang. Nur an die Leitkuh Indra traute er sich nicht oft heran, weil das sofort eine erzieherische Maßnahme zur Folge hat.
