  • TK-421 was a stormtrooper for the Galactic Domain. When he first became a stormtrooper aboard the Death Star, he had many issues with the new helmets. He would often get caught without it, which violated Vader’s first rule on the station. In one instance, he and his partner TK-422 were sentenced to solitary confinement. As part of their sentence, they were assigned to Darth Vader during his raid of the Tantive IIVI. TK-421 was ordered to remove Leia from the ship by force, which meant separating her from her body. They were also assigned to patrol Tatooine as part of the sentence. They, however, never found out why until Obi-Wan Kenobi revealed that they were supposed to be looking for droids. They were reassigned to the Death Star to continue their sentence with the execution of Princess Leia Organa. Once their sentence was finished, they both were assigned to guard the Millennium Falcon. After a failed attempt to set up communications with an advisor while guarding the ship, TK-421 and TK-422 decided to investigate the source problem and ended up getting entangled in the Leia’s escape. They chased the prisoners around the station before pinning them in the main hangar, where the Falcon rested. However, TK-421 was shot down during the fight, having his helmet knocked off. When he stood back up, he was reprimanded for not having his helmet on instead of being praised for still being alive.
