She had stolen an artifact called the Magic Paintbrush in order for her dream to come true. Kirby fought her three times throughout the game (the first happens during the introduction). The first time Kirby fought her, she turned him into a ball which rendered him helpless to stop her from turning Dreamland into a painting. She could also be fought as either a Waddle Dee, a Waddle Doo, King Dedede, or even Meta Knight. She has a way to make enemies come to life by using a Power Paintbrush.

Her capability to bring things to life with paint is similar to the abilities of Ado, Adeleine, Paint Roller and Paintra; however, Drawcia has much more creative and magical power at her disposal than any of these characters, being able to create whole worlds and even full-fledged bosses (including Paint Roller himself) to impede Kirby in his attempt to undo her spell on Dream Land.

Ella sueña con vengarse de los que la rechazaron y para ello transforma Dream Land en un cuadro y a Kirby en una bola. Después de ser derrotada muestra su forma real, que es una especie de bola de pintura con 5 ojos y una gran boca y que cuando lanza un ataque suele antes chillar con un grito muy agudo o una risa malvada en su forma de hechicera. The magic paintbrush would draw rainbow colored platforms that Kirby could travel on, and would also stun enemies and so fourth. The two worked together in order to get to the end of the game and face off with the evil Drawcia. Drawcia is similar to three other characters in the Kirby universe including Ado, Paint Roller, and Adeleine, who, like Drawcia, possess the ability to draw figures and bring them to life. However, it's unarguable that Drawcia is the master of doing this, as she is capable of bringing a copy of King Dedede to life to do her bidding, which is mainly to rid of the progressing Kirby. During the final fight with Drawcia, Kirby ultimately defeats the witch, and thus her body gets thrust into a painting, which is soon later destroyed, seemingly killing her.
