Dr. Lily Rosenbloom is a world-famous botanist and author who appears in the season 44 finale of Sesame Street. Rosenbloom is the author of the book, Every Plant There Ever Was, which Stinky the Stinkweed is excited to read. Only, Stinky is left out of the book. After dealing with his identity crisis, Chris texts Rosenbloom to get to the bottom of the issue. She appears to learn about this supposed new species. After doing some tests, she concludes Stinky is in fact a plant. She believes he's too special to fix her old book, so she writes a completely new story about Stinky.
