This will not be in the same system for everyone! It picks one at random. You are directed to hyper to the designated system with the objective of repairing a disabled transport. Once in that system, follow a series of patrol points and eventually the freighter will appear. Dock with the vessel, and the mission will update with an escort mission. Pretty standard here, and you’ll encounter minimal opposition in the form of:

The transport will jump out of the system, and you can return to Nova Orion. (NOTE: Do not use the Home Port option, it will not return you to the station.) Upon your return Maikia suggested you speak to Willard Wassleman III. Remember his location, as he will offer the necessary promotions to move through the missions, usually with a bribe of Midlithe Crystals, of course. He grants you the first title of ‘Mailroom Attendant’, and adds a collection badge to your Space Slayer tab. Once you've met with Willard, see Byrec in the 2nd Hangar for your next mission.
