Jill Ryder is the sister of pornographic actress Amy "Blondie" Ryder, living in Miami with her father. Crockett goes to see her regarding the whereabouts of her sister (missing, possibly murdered by the director on her latest movie, Milton Glantz) and becomes suspicious when Jill's story changes numerous times; first she claimed Amy was still living with her, then she stated she had moved out several months previously. Unsatisfied with her conflicting statements, Crockett took both Jill and her father to OCB for further questioning, soon discovering Amy had been suffering from terminal cancer and that Glantz had been covering her hospital bills. Amy's body is discovered dumped in an alleyway soon afterwards.
