The Frilled monarch (Arses telescopthalmus), is a species of monarch flycatcher in the Monarchidae family. As here defined, it is restricted to forest on the New Guinea and nearby smaller islands, but historically it has include some or all of the remaining members of the genus Arses as subspecies.
