| - Admiral Erstis was a Czenti Nymean admiral from Czenti. Since his species were not widely traveled, he decided to remain within the Ascendancy instead of joining the regular Ni'novian forces. He led the Fourth Fleet which was stationed on the Rimward boarder of the Nymean Ascendancy. Through the Galaxial War, he and his fleet remained on the defensive guarding against any encroachment by the various species in the Unknown Regions trying to take advantage of the War. He was pleased to hear of Eliana's selection of the Fourth Fleet to accompany her to Yavin IV. In the events that ensued there, he proved to be a level headed being as he prevented the Nymean fleet from being destroyed by the Vagaari ambushers. He also showed wisdom in choosing to deal with the Sal Maroian fleet under Colonel Seth Gul in a diplomatic manner rather than a military one. Eliana left him and the Fourth Fleet in charge of protecting the Yavin system and maintaining that new Nymean outpost. While he was there, he was given authority from the Council of El'iadar to negotiate a treaty with Sal Maro's government and met once again with Colonel Seth Gul. The two managed to negotiate a mutual protection pact for the benefit of both parties. When Valentine and Darkness invaded the Yavin System, he ordered a quick withdraw from the system. He was forced to abandon the small colony below, the choice to sacrifice two hundred colonists was simple compared to risking thousands of soldiers and ships trying to evacuate them. He lost some ships, but managed to save most of the fleet. After Nymean involvement in the Battle of Sal Maro potentially put the Nymeans in the cross hairs of the Galactic Alliance, he was sent to Sal Maro to negotiate the Ascendancy's entrance into the Common Welfare Confederacy. Once there, he felt that the agreements were too entangling for the Ascendancy and merely reaffirmed the mutual protection treaty he had created with Sal Maro earlier at Yavin IV. He returned to Areltsi expecting to be relieved of duty and possibly arrested. Instead, he found himself promoted to Supreme Commander of the Nymean military. After some investigation, he found that Jorelas had used his influence as the unofficial spokesperson for the spirit form of Trivas to assure his promotion. Even though he was promoted, he had several enemies for his rejection of Nymean entrance into the Confederacy, especially among the Triad Party. Still, he has the support of a large portion of his own party as well as the Nymean Admiralty.
