Mr. Relich, 60, of Peters, came to the district in June 2006 after serving as the acting assistant principal and activities coordinator at West Mifflin Area High School. He had more than 20 years of experience in athletics and education, and had previously been named athletic director of the year by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association.

He had more than 20 years of experience in athletics and education, and had previously been named athletic director of the year by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association. Mr. Relich took on the traditional duties of athletic director but also oversaw athletic activities districtwide. District business manager Dan Solomon said Mr. Relich is eligible for retirement near the end of this school year, and said the district will likely begin seeking his replacement in the coming months. Mr. Relich said his exact retirement date should be determined soon, though he believes it will be close to the end of the school year. Source:
