| - Jesús Ruyman (b. 1965) is a Spanish actor who played Jesús on Barrio Sésamo, the Spanish co-production of Sesame Street, from 1983 to 1984. Ruyman was 27 years old when he debuted as an actor with Barrio Sésamo. However, his character did not get the attention of the audience, and his contract was rescinded for the next season of the series. During the 1980s, Ruyman appeared in the occasional film, such as Matador (1986), La Rusa (1987), and The Return of the Musketeers (1989, with Geraldine Chaplin), but after a slack period, he retired from acting for several years. In 1996, Ruyman returned to movies with small roles in Libertarias and Alma gitana, as well as his first named character since Barrio Sésamo in Malena es un nombre de tango. Since, he has continued to appear in small roles in movies, and made a guest appearance in a 1998 e[isode of the series Periodista. He was also a regular for one season in another series, Nada es para siempre. In the 2000s, Ruyman was active in both movies (Una grieta en la nieve helada, 2000); TV movies (Sant'Antonio di Padova, 2002) and recurring guest roles in series (Hospital Central for the 2002 season). He has gone on to make guest appearances in other series such as Un paso adelante (2003) or Aquí no hay quien viva (2005), and had a small role as an unnamed gardener in Reinas (2005).
