  • That's a shame. Were they a Wiki in the same way as us?
  • Recent changes is a little messed up, for me at least. now reads . Is this just an IE problem?
  • I don't like the new gallery set up. Why did they change it? Galleries used to have nice, uniform-sized boxes for the pictures to go in. Now, the size of the box, or at least the width, appears to be based on the length of the text underneath. I do not like that. :P
  • To put it bluntly, the special pages look like shit. Uncategorised lists have ugly code at the top, as do the Redirect Lists, and it just looks bad. Hopefully they will fix it quick because I spend most of my time on those pages.
  • That site failed the second I searched for Balthier and got nothing. And it is stupid that they don't use Roman Numerals.
  • This wiki's gonna feel really empty lol. See ya soon though
  • Jump to: navigation, search There is no page titled "Kefka". You can create this page. For more information about searching FantasySquare, see Searching FantasySquare. WTF?!?
  • BWA HAAA HA hahahahahahahahaha! I'm back, kiddies! Just hope I don't get bored! >:D
  • Another bad change is how galleries are handled. Look at the List of Final Fantasy characters and List of Final Fantasy XII characters for examples.
  • Best of luck Hecko. Come back safe.
  • Wikia's updated again, but what are the updates, I can't seem to find them on the main site. So far I've got: Seach function now searches every article and gives you close matches. Very handy for fixing disambigs.
  • Duly noted, it is removed.
  • I'm not gonna be able to edit a massive amount until my exams are over either. I've got a shitload of exams and cw and I've got exams from now until around early June
  • From FantasySquare You searched for Kefka
  • Conversely, the Spring semester at my university just finished, so I'll be editing more than ever! That is, if I don't get a job... -_-
  • Oh, yuck. Who's dumba$$ idea was that one? This isn't PaintShop. I don't wanna see a grid in the background
  • Good luck on your exams and the move and come back soon, will ya ? Renmiri
  • I have that diff/hist problem when there are multiple edits on a page so it happens on FF as well
  • Sounds like a good idea. Things to put on the list could be to fix all disambig links , and to actually disambig pages. Hell, that could be a seperate idea on its own, deciding which pages should be disambigged .
  • That is not a wiki they have. That is a disaster.
  • We'll miss you. Good luck with everything.
  • What are we talking about?
  • When you log in, it's now a pop-up box.
  • That's what Lycentia put, I just copied it. I'm sure there is a better choice.
  • Hey y'all, I'm jumping on the bandwagon with these talk boxes! In other news, those of you who have ever visited the fansite Fantasy Square, they have recently converted to a Wiki. At the risk of incurring everyone's wrath, it looks pretty good for early days. Forgiveness please if this is old news, but it's new to me!
  • Let me share something with you guys: I carried out a little search on that wiki: Search results
  • Welcome back. I didn't even realise you'd been away.
  • I get the feeling that without some serious contributions, it is not going to evolve much past what the original site was, and anyone who tries to expand it will only recreate what we have here. The only thing unique is the posting of current news articles.
  • Sorry for flooding the Recent Changes page the past couple of days. I've been worrying that that was annoying people. :
  • I'm not sure what was going on with the strange widths... a null edit fixed that, so if you see it anywhere else just edit the page and it will go away. The chequered background is to show that it's a transparent image. I'm guessing that was written into the software for Mediawiki Commons. The best thing to do there is to reupload the image without the transparency. Or will that be a problem? are they used somewhere where you need the transparent background?
  • Great idea, Hecko! And aboslutely hilarious exhausted ramblings. "They ar like Tony the Tiger"? WTF? ^_^ Where would this table go, on this page, the user's page, some page made just for it, or what?
  • Ah, good ol' school and exams... One of the reasons I no longer go to school. I miss seeing my friends, though... anyways, don't let it get you down.
  • They're still alive. If they're giving you kiddies competition, I'm still willing to rectify any "difficulties" from them >:D
  • Confound it! I didn't get time to change all the FFIV articles to their proper names! Curse your travelling powers CSM!
  • You could just have another kind of red, brighter perhaps? And by the way? Khaki on FFX? What the hell. There are times I wish I were colour-blind. Seriously.
  • I have a computing exam on wednesday, so I won't be around until about midday on that day. If anyone needs to contact me, feel free to email me. Since I won't be doing anything for the rest of Wednesday, I'll finish off sorting the Disambiguation Pages.
  • And also, this page is in desperate need of Archiving.
  • Lol, i like the icon they chose. On a similar note, Fantasy Square has had a bit of work done, although their page structure leaves something to be desired.
  • Jim wants to promote gaming here ? Bless his heart! I was so sad when Jimbo booted gaming out of wikibooks :
  • Like I said on the other talk page, it was only a temporary choice. I figured it could be changed later.
  • I hate myself for saying this, but I actually like the new gallery look. Still, the special pages thing is messed up and needs to be fixed ASAP.
  • Oh yeah! I saw that the other day. That icon made my laugh. Teehee! ^_^
  • Hahaha, what a joke. By the way, speak for yourself about Ivalice Fanboyism CSM.
  • You can make your own box by using the TalkText template and just putting your own info in. Secondly, I don't think that this wiki will condone your vandalising another wiki thanks
  • Heh, I didn't mean it to sound that mean, but I'm very protective of large changes of FFX Things >:) and I didn't see that message before after I posted this.
  • Good luck with everything, Hecko! ^_^ We'll miss you.
  • Dang! Just as it was getting fun ^^ Good to have you back CSM
  • My esteemed colleague is quite correct. And besides, I don't want insane floods of people like Wikipedia on here. The reason I joined was because there were no people editing . So I don't know.
  • Ick. What a terrible Wiki. Well, we can all be smug in the fact that our Wiki owns their Wiki's ass. Aw yeah. Vandalism probably isn't a good idea, though it is a funny suggestion. ;)
  • Well, they do have sections on the original ones, they just haven't been imported yet. However, they're barely an FF wiki, since they're all over the place.
  • Ah, good ol' abomination to Final Fantasy... if there weren't more people who ignore the first half of the series, we'd lose a lot of things to be angry about.
  • I'm really sorry that i said i'd work alot on the wiki today and haven't. My ICT teacher offered an extra revsion session before friday's exam and i'm affraid that it too presedence.
  • I've got Uni exams this month too However, they're nicely spaced out, so my editing shouldn't be slowed down too much. However, the Recent Changes page is so busy just now, I'll just wait until MMIL's rampage is over. :)
  • With templates, you have to create them in the namespace Template: and then you create them pretty much like a normal page except that you will be including it in a page. If there is something which you wish to specify on inclusion, you encase it in three curly braces like and that would change into whatever text you want when you include it and write test=. TO call a template you must use two curly braces . I have included to the usage of the TalkText template on that page to make it easier. If you wish for me to do it, just ask and give me an image and I will do it
  • They have the same problem as the other FF Wiki someone found a while ago. They focus way too much on the newer games, ignoring classics like IV and V, and the misunderstood II. I do wonder how they don't have ads running down the right hand side though. Do people have to donate money or something to get rid of them?
  • They don't even pretend to care about the games that came out before FFVII. And about the wrath you will incur... the only thing that really bothers me about that place, at this point, is the fact that there is a curious absense of roman numerals.
  • That's how I feel; you can't moan about progress :P
