- One particularly cold, dreary summer in 1967, a young lad named John Lennon, with nothing better to do than get high on acid and start the world's first boy band, began singing a song: And it was pure genius. - "I Am the Walrus" is a song in The Beatles: Rock Band. It is contained in the 1967-1968 Abbey Road section of the story. It is the sixth track on the soundtrack to the 1967 Beatles film Magical Mystery Tour. "I Am the Walrus" was written by John Lennon. Lennon also performed lead vocals.

The couple exited their limousine on 72nd Street, with Ono walking ahead of Lennon, watched by Mark David Chapman, a man who had a record autographed by Lennon earlier, in the shadow of the archway.
