During the general election, Hahn focused on the traditional Nationalist values, spending very little time on the Imperialist values that got him elected. His noteworthy speech occurred in Rossingol, where he spoke to a sea of supporters, mostly employees of Annan Enterprises.The speech which highlighted comparisons between the respective industries of Hahn and Evan McDowell catapulted Hahn from a distant third to competing closely with the Anchor Party candidate. He was elected as the first Governor of Rossingol in 2055 and he served until his death in 2081.
