  • A 5 five card set was distributed to attendees of the Cleveland National conference in 2001. The cards were to serve as a promotion and preview of the upcoming 2001 Bowman Heritage set that Topps would soon release to the public. A total of 500 sets were produced according to Topps. Single cards wre packaged with a piece of gun and distributed during the show. The players included were Roberto Alomar, Albert Pujols, CC Sabathia, Mark McGwire, and Juan Gonzalez. The cards are distinguishable from the regular set by the word PROMO printed on the card back and the photos on the front are also different than the standard set. The Pujols card is particularly in demand as it is one of the more rare rookie cards of the future Hall of Famer.
