Richard Branbrook (born 24 February 1961) is a former British National Party and independent politician. Barnbrook joined the BNP in 1999 and contested the 2005 general election at Barking, coming third. In 2006 elections to Barking and Dagenham London Borough Council were held and the BNP won 12 seats to form the official opposition group on the council. Barnbrook was elected a councillor for Goresbrook Ward. At the subsequent borough council elections in 2010 the BNP lost all their seats on the council to the Labour Party, and Barnbrook came fourth in the three-member ward.

At the subsequent borough council elections in 2010 the BNP lost all their seats on the council to the Labour Party, and Barnbrook came fourth in the three-member ward. In the meantime Mayoral and London Assembly elections had been held in 2008. Barnbrook was the BNP's candidate for mayor, and was in fifth place. He won an assembly seat as a London-wide member under the "top-up" party list system. He was expelled from the BNP in August 2010 and sat as an independent until the next assembly elections in 2012, where he was not a candidate.
