The 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 was a Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) event that occured at Darlington Speedway on 3-16-2003. Ricky Craven won what could be the most dramatic finish in NASCAR history. Craven grinded on Kurt Busch's car as they came to the checker flag. Craven won by .002 seconds, the closest finish in Nascar history. It was the highlight of a two-lap duel that had seen both cars be put into the wall. Matt Kenseth maintained a healhty points lead with an 8th place finish.
