The Reincarnation technique is a Kinjutsu technique developed by Joshin that can reincarnate the users body. After being with Orochimaru for a few years, Joshin was able to obtain many things, and while there Joshin experimented with things himself. Including this technique; in Orochimaru's hideouts were many things, techniques, secrets of the soul and body. Joshin had access to just about all of this stuff, so thats what he did. Joshin read up on a lot of things and after doing that he developed this technique. In situations where Joshin cannot do anything, he uses this technique.

Including this technique; in Orochimaru's hideouts were many things, techniques, secrets of the soul and body. Joshin had access to just about all of this stuff, so thats what he did. Joshin read up on a lot of things and after doing that he developed this technique. In situations where Joshin cannot do anything, he uses this technique. Usually when he uses this technique, a part of his body has to be detached from him. When he activates this technique the part of the body he activates it basically sends out a signal to Joshin's soul. That part of the body contains Joshin's DNA, Chakra, cells, etc; so when it activates it starts to rebuild Joshin's body though slowly. The reason Joshin is able to do this is because of his experiments with reptiles (specifically Lizards), and other experiments and researching with Orochimaru. Then whenever Joshin is ready, his soul disconnects from the rest of his body and his body decentergates to nothingness. His soul still carries all his techniques, but nothings physical from the rest of his body. At this moment his soul is a free floating spirit, so it can go through anythings nor be harmed unless certain circumstances. It goes towards where the signal from his part of the now reincarnating body is coming from and connects its soul to the body for a complete reincarnation. After this, Joshin must wait again for his chakra to come back to him. When Joshin is reincarnated he is naked, so just about all the time he has to find some cloths and his sword. Joshin has not taught this technique to anyone and plans not to do so.
