Plot
  • Restrained in Darkseid’s Bludhaven bunker Batman is trapped within a world of memories as Darkseid’s lackeys try to use his DNA and memories to create an unstoppable clone army. The guide and controller within his dream world, the Lump, uses Alfred’s image to watch over him however even through his memories Batman realises something was wrong and begins to fight back, eventually causing his clones, who were directly linked to him to record his memories, began going insane and killing themselves. In an effort to stop him Darkseid’s lackeys kill the Lump however Batman again uses his memories to assist the Lump in fighting them off, long enough for him to awaken and escape imprisonment.
  • The final pages are a narration by Alfred Pennyworth alliterating the moments between the Black Glove saga and the beginning of Batman’s involvement in the Final Crisis.
