Darth Slaughtus was the apprentice of Darth Bandon. He was found by the Sith Lord only two months after Bandon himself became Darth Malak's apprentice. Slaughtus was taken in as Bandon's successor. Malak found out about Slaughtus but unusually, he did not consider it a betrayal by Darth Bandon, but encouraged it. He claimed Bandon to be the future of the Sith and the only way to keep them strong. Slaughtus, Bandon and Malak then ruled the empire together. Slaughtus was killed on the same day as Bandon when, disguised as an ordinary Dark Jedi, he, Bandon and another Dark Jedi were killed by Revan on Manaan.
