Solarwind carries it all back to the Planet of the Pikmin. It brings the plasm to a forest area with many life, the plasm mutates due to the pressure and makes the Shadowraith! It bites all of the creatures there to get some DNA from them, this lets it take the bits of DNA it got to transform it into a shadow DNA. This makes him make a shadow clone of the creature who owns the DNA. The Shadowraith spent 3 years making Shadow Enemies on the Pikmin Planet.

Later a Pikmin goes outside of the Onion and he sees that there are many new and dangerous Enemies, the Shadow Enemies. They killed all Pikmin, every Pikmin! Even other species on the planet Olimar hears a news report on that, and goes, cause he wanted to see what the Pikmin are doing, to the Pikmin Planet. When he is there he see what happens: New Creatures and when he goes to the Onions, he see that every Pikmin died! He must beat all Shadow Enemies and the Shadowraith
