The flag of the United Governorates of Bellinsgauzenia is a tricolor of purple, blue, and green; with a single white star located off center. The tricolor gains its origins in the early 20th century as a flag associated with the Antarctic Cossacks. The tricolor became widely used by the Russian Antarctic soldiers of the 1920s during their fight against communism and British expansion. The white star was added shortly after the formation of Bellinsgauzenia to represent the new nations loyalty to the White movement.
