In most games, the resulting hole acts as a Hard Block - players cannot pass it, bombs will bounce on it, and explosions will be blocked by it. In Bomberman World, however, Bomberman will fall down the pit and lose a life if he steps onto the tilespace after it has opened up. In Super Bomberman 5, If the Cracking Floor is opened, and the Player stays over it, He will stay invencible, as Explosions won't go through the crack, but the player will still lose power-ups if the opponent throws an bomb in its head.
