- He was portrayed by legendary actor Christopher Lloyd. At the beginning, he catches Tiny with his net and took her to the shelter. A man asked to adopt Tiny, but Cruge needed/wanted $300 for her rather than giving away free puppies for Christmas. Throughout some of the film, he attempted to catch Puppy Paws, not knowing that he belonged to Santa Paws. When he eventually captured Puppy Paws, the Buddies came to the rescue. After Paws was saved, the other dogs dogpiled and licked him. When he relocked up the dogs, Eddy the Elf dog reminded Cruge about why he hated Christmas and to let Christmas Spirit come into his heart. On Christmas Eve, he had a change of heart and delivered Tiny at a house to give her a new family.
