- Dave "David" Winston Gregorious Gorman (born 13th December 1963 near Güglschlag, Germany) is a Silesian comedian of mediocre repute, a part-time transvestite as well as the current manager of Northampton Shoeshaggers Football Club. He is most famous for Powerpoint presentations about his efforts to track down other people called Dave Gorman as well as his exploits as a 'tasche twirling tactical guru on the football pitch.
- Co-writer of Are You Dave Gorman? and instigator of various other silly boy projects, including the one that lead to his book Googlewhack.
- David Peter Gorman (born April 8, 1955 in Oshawa, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 260 games in the World Hockey Association and 3 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Birmingham Bulls, Atlanta Flames, and Phoenix Roadrunners. Gorman played two-and-a-half seasons with the Roadrunners before being traded to the Birmingham Bulls in November, 1976. He stayed with the Bulls until the WHA ceased operation in 1979. In 260 league games, Gorman scored 56 goals and 83 assists.

- David Peter Gorman (born April 8, 1955 in Oshawa, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 260 games in the World Hockey Association and 3 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Birmingham Bulls, Atlanta Flames, and Phoenix Roadrunners. He played junior hockey for the St. Catharines Black Hawks from 1970 to 1974 and was chosen 70th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft. Rather than trying to crack the powerful Canadiens' lineup, Gorman opted to join the Phoenix Roadrunners of the World Hockey Association. Poenix had chosen him 16th overall in the 1974 WHA Amateur Draft. Gorman played two-and-a-half seasons with the Roadrunners before being traded to the Birmingham Bulls in November, 1976. He stayed with the Bulls until the WHA ceased operation in 1979. In 260 league games, Gorman scored 56 goals and 83 assists. The Atlanta Flames signed him as a free agent in 1979 but he only played three games for the NHL club (his only NHL experience). He was traded to the Canadiens in 1980 but only spent a season with the Nova Scotia Voyageurs. Siging with the Buffalo Sabres gave him a season with the Rochester Americans. In 1982 Gorman went to Switzerland and spent three seasons there. He retired in 1985.
