When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the Galaxy, they turned their attention toward Eloque. After conquering a few planets in the Outer Rim, they expected Eloque to be unguarded. This resulted in a Battle for Eloque. They knew of the Eloquian technology, and how they made thousands upon thousands of abominations every day. If they did capture Eloque, they would enslave the Eloquian, and perhaps destroy the planet. But posing as one of the Peace Brigade, a member of the Eloquian Alliance was able to warn the Eloquian of this threat, and the Eloquian prepared themselves as well as they could.
