Founded several millennia prior to the birth of the Galactic Empire, the Antivics weren't exactly the richest clan in Hutt society. In fact, they had always been among the poorest and smallest kajidics. They had a long history of violence with a slightly larger clan, the Kavardi kajidic. This squabble erupted into a real conflict in 120 BBY, which killed several Hutts on both sides and forced the Antivics to leave the planet.

abstract
  • Founded several millennia prior to the birth of the Galactic Empire, the Antivics weren't exactly the richest clan in Hutt society. They traveled to Tatooine. Due to substantial financial losses during the conflict, they had to take large loans, mostly from Jabba Desilijic Tiure. One of them, Bargon, decided that he would never take any loans from anybody as dangerous as Jabba, and left the kajidic. His mother, Imig, was one of the few that didn't succumb to extreme poverty. Instead, she opened a pawnshop. In 98 BBY, the now wealthy Bargon's returned to Tatooine. Upon arrival, he discovered that the kajidic had been dissolved, most of the kajidic's members killed in petty squabbles, and that his parent had died in a speeder accident. The days of the Antivic kajidic were over. As heartbroken as a Hutt possibly could be, Bargon left once more, eventually founding an information network on Stoopa Ootmian.
