The Humans was a drama written by the famous Sangheili playwright and poet Hiuel Jadam. It was written four years after the Human-Covenant War. It was unusual in that it was the first play written by a Sangheili about a story based around humans, told from a human prospective. Upon release it was both praised and reviled. It divided the already fractious post-war Sangheili society, with some using it as justification to help the humans rebuild. The more conservative parts of society saw it as heresy and 'Jadam received more than one death threat.
