Hand of troubling is a prayer from the befallen prayer book, and requires 49 prayer to activate. When this prayer is activated, the player the opponent is fighting, whether it be in the duel arena, the wilderness, tzhaar caves, etc..., will hit less accurately with the melee attack style. This does NOT mean that they will hit lower, but they will hit slightly more 0s. Originally, this spell was not visible when being used, and was only noticeable if the victim noticed he was hitting less accurately, however, it was easy for the prayer user to deny it. Thus, Jagex instated a prayer icon for the prayer that will appear above the players head, and animations not dissimilar to those like the ancient curses, so it would be obvious for the victim to notice and take the actions necessary.
