Andrew McLaren was the 27th Governor-General of New Englia, the Attorney General of New Englia, a senator from Central Province as well as a member of the McLaren Family. During his first and only term in office, he made education as his priority as he tried to reform the failing education system in place. He declined to run for a second term and as soon as he left office, he began giving motivational speaking tours across the nation and was in the process of writing an autobiography. He died on April 5, 2936 at age 76 along with his sister Anne McLaren in a plane crash. He is buried at the Redhawk Compound in Central Province.
