Very few entered, even fewer were brave enough to test themselves, but in the recent year a place was built in the lowest level. It had taken much time, much talking with the locals, but the city that Raien, with Nova's help, was finally profiting. The place was small for now, it could only hold about fifty people comfortably, but eventually it would expand. It took careful planning and preparation to finally set up a trade route, at first those above didn't think it would be useful. There was also distrust, but a step by step approach and even a listing of probable gain soon allowed for a contract to be drawn.

Very few entered, even fewer were brave enough to test themselves, but in the recent year a place was built in the lowest level. It had taken much time, much talking with the locals, but the city that Raien, with Nova's help, was finally profiting. The place was small for now, it could only hold about fifty people comfortably, but eventually it would expand. It took careful planning and preparation to finally set up a trade route, at first those above didn't think it would be useful. There was also distrust, but a step by step approach and even a listing of probable gain soon allowed for a contract to be drawn. The Sanctuary would serve as a stopping point for a new patrol route, they'd also give shelter should rites of passage be taken. It would ensure that survival of the young have better odds, but more than that it would allow research of the beasts be available. Because the lower levels being so dangerous not many had tried, but Sanctuary would allow this and would shelter, for a price of course. The shield that Nova had commissioned had taken a lot of money, it stopped anything from entering or exiting should the one area opened be closed. It repelled laser fire and physical attacks, the power that fueled it was powered by an underground water system that the Warrior devised. Gardens, food and pleasure, were spread all over, he made sure that other than meat they could be self sufficient. Once the locals got interested things went a lot quicker, but the place drew people who simply wanted to look at the architecture. When you entered through the gateway, you walked in to an open circle, at the heart of the open area was a fountain. About fifteen feet high made of stone the statues of Sanctuary's founder's stood back to back. Their stone eyes looking down, they stood back to back their arms crossed, expressions distant and seeming to watch you. This had been devised by those who had built it, it was supposed to be a tribute to the two men. Eight trees circled the area in an almost perfect circle, at the base carved in were ground level living areas. The largest was for the library, but also for Nova and Raien's living areas, it was big enough not including the library, to house six. The living areas were closed off and the library was open, but only to those who had permission. At the entrance were two of the Sun Guard that patrolled the perimeter, but also the small area inside the shield. A staircase was carved up the trees, they led to a central balcony above, this had a perfect view of the statue and circular square, but also the outside. In the square there was already a couple of temporary shops, these were seasonal and only held basics for those traveling. There was however plenty of room for a possible market. Other places were being planned, but for now the small size was perfect. Nova's quarters had their own balcony that extended up with stairs to his pet's platform. The dragon didn't mind that it's home had been changed, it could still move freely and that's all it cared about. The Warrior's personal quarters had a common area that attached to the library. This was a circular room that held a small kitchen, a table, comfortable chairs and some fragrant plants. Along one wall was a small waterfall that fed in to the library. A short hall moved opened to his training room on the left then his quarters simply straight ahead. His training room was empty except for one wall that held some weaponry, there was a droid as well. His room was octagon shaped chamber that has a smaller raised platform that held his bed, a couple of shelves and a table. The rest of the room also had shelves and a couple of tables, plants, papers and writing and or drawing supplies were on these, the shelves held books, journals, but also other things. This room too had a waterfall, furs covered the floor in places and there were a couple of windows, one of which was a door to the balcony. On one wall there was a large empty area that held dozens of different drawings. It on that wall where the drawings of the city went, but also projects that he finished just because. The library was also a large circular area that had a winding staircase that went up three levels. The first level was filled, so was some of the second level, but there was room for more not to mention space for further levels. The whole area was much improved from the way it had been since it was started, there was even a landing area where once was a beach. It was there that the coordinates to the path to Sanctuary lay, a path to the city above was already underway. Other than Nova's ship the area was empty, a few guards patrolled the area and along the path.
