The Curse Technique: Self-Reflecting Water (呪术・自水鏡, Jujutsu: Jisuikyō) is a Curse Technique exclusive to the Jashin Cult, and is a reward for their devotion to the Evil God himself. The technique is activated, quite simply, by drawing numerous blood markings upon the hand, and saying aloud the prayer: "The clock's hand draws time: eternal markings, seeping blood, gouging eyes, carnal flames; repent in the horror of your revolt!" (時計の手が時間描画：永遠のマーキングを、血液、ガウジング目、肉欲の炎を浸透、あなたの反乱の恐ろしさに後悔！, Tokei no te ga jikan byōga: Eien no mākingu o, ketsueki, gaujingu-me, nikuyoku no honō o shintō, anata no hanran no osoroshi-sa ni kōkai!). Upon doing so, a square surrounded by blood appears to manifest from the user's hands, levitating in the air in front of them. Soon, this square begins to project an image that is shown to the victim; this image can be anything, but is generally something that is extremely sadistic and tortuous in its cumulative process, therefore, it starts as something quite happy and calming. Upon being entranced, the victim is incapable of escaping an immediate spiritual link with the caster of the technique, at which they are able to manipulate the scale and contents of the illusion towards dramatic levels, leaving the victims to be psychologically destroyed as their minds are shown horrors beyond their wildest imaginations. Upon the technique's conclusion, the victim is generally left in a comatose state, allowing for an effortless kill. However, on some occasions, the victim may be in a state where spasms rapidly occur, causing the sadistic tendencies of the technique to be further enhanced.
