Southfork is known for its fiercely independent people who have had to find their own way. While the northern regions are not very far from Stonewyck, most of the cultivated regions kept themselves apart from the military during the Kingdoms War, with some gnomish merchants even going so far as to trade with the elves. Southfork's main feature is a peninsula that extends into the Singing Sea and ends in a fork like the tongue of a serpent. Further to the southwest can be found the Serpent Rocks, which are inhabited by harpies, while below in the harbor can be found a number of aquatic races such as mermaids, sea elves, and the vicious sahuagin.
