Distributed by Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Screen Gems and produced by Sony Pictures Animation, Annapurna Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, LStar Capital and Bazelevs Company, the film released on August 19, 2016. This is the first censored film in the series to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, the only film in the series to be produced by Bazelevs Company and the last film in the series to be distributed by Screen Gems. A sequel, Zachary, Grace and Lexia: Blooming Flowers, released on September 16, 2016.
