- Melons are types of round fruit with a hard shell. In the original game, Melons are used for many things. They can be used to keep a button pressed down. They can also distract Rams so they can be passed undetected. Melons are also used to move Orangutans from one tree to another, and they also make Loop-tailed Monkeys attack nearby enemies if they are hit with one. There is also the Juju Power Summon Melon, which uses Mana to form a melon. After a run-in with the Caged Juju, a new fruit appears, the Coconut. The Coconut is much more powerful, and even explodes barriers. Melons never appeared outside the first game, as the ability to pick up and throw items was dropped.
