Jemal Delroy Thompson (born October 18, 1989 in Toronto, Ontario) is a professional Canadian defensive tackle with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He went undrafted in the 2011 CFL Draft. He played one season of NCAA football for the Virginia State University Trojans, and additionally three years in the Canadian Junior Football League with the Toronto Thunder, Burlington Braves and Brampton Bears. He attended Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute In Toronto, Ontario. Jemal Thompson is also the first cousin of Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers who was taken 4th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft.
