Fujiyoshida (富士吉田市) is a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, in the centre of the Japanese main island of Honshū. The city was founded in 1949. Over time, in 1954, 1961, 1963, and 1964 Fujiyoshida expanded to include villages of Nishikatsura, Oshino, Yamanakako, and Narusawa respectively. It is also famous for its tourist attractions and a few major festivals that take place as well.
