The Ochu, also known as Ocho in the original NES translation, is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. They are weak to lightning-based spells. Like many of their equivalents in later games, the Ochu's attacks tend to cause negative status effects; in this game, they can inflict Poison. The player's party can find these, alongside the related enemy Neochu, in all the rivers around the world map. They are not hard to defeat, but they are more difficult than some common enemies. Using consecutive Lightning attacks alongside physical attacks will kill it.
