Tony asks Kelvin if he is bunking off lessons before they are interrupted by Tony's estranged wife, Hannah. After Kelvin leaves Hannah explains that she wants a civilised conversation without any arguing. She suggests that if she and Tony can come to agreeable terms she will not contest their divorce. Hannah also suggests that Tony spends more time with his daughter Cassie (whose age has been increased to 11 having previously being stated to be 7). Due to start her stripping job next week Mary is struggling to find a babysitter. After being turned down by Pauline who thinks Mary shouldn't be stripping, Sue offers her services and Mary accepts. Debbie is alone at home when she receives a 'dirty' phone-call which shakes her up. Shortly after Andy returns, for the first time since walking out last week, to pack up his clothes. He informs Debbie that he can't move back until he knows where he stands. Saeed is feeling down in the dumps when the 'For Sale' sign goes up outside the Foodstore. Later in the Vic he talks about returning to Bangladesh and bemonas his luck with women along with Tony and Ali. Angie and Pauline about Kathy and the fact that she has not yet told Pete the whole truth about Nick's blackmail attempt. Pauline is adamant that she should tell him but Angie warns her against it saying that when someone tried it on with her a few years ago Den blamed her claiming that she bought it on herself. Kathy decides it is time to tell Pete about being blackmailed by Nick and heads off home. Back at the Beale's flat Kathy open up to Pete about being raped. Angry Pete throws a glass across the room. Kathy tells him to be quiet before she tells him the full story. When she was 14 she was walking home from school when a man pulled up in his car asking for directions. Thinking nothing of it she got in the car to show him where to go in the A-to-Z. The next thing she knew was she was waking up in the back of the car and miles away from anywhere. She was scared and didn't fight back for fear that her assailant would kill her. She didn't tell her family as, living in a home rife with domestic abuse, she was scared what her Dad would do to her and her Mum and didn't go to the Police thinking they would not believe her. Four months later, realising she was pregnant, she went to Dr Legg asking him not to tell the family. True to his word he kept quiet but did say something to her Dad as from that day on he never hit her again. When the baby was born she gave her up for adoption and has not seen her since. Kathy and Pete hug and Pete promises he will never leave her. After putting her to bed Pete takes a knife from the kitchen before heading to the Vic. At the Vic Pauline tells Arthur to warn Tony, Saeed and Ali the there may be trouble as, being a twin, she knows Pete will come to the Vic looking for Nick and is expecting trouble. Whilst talking to them Dot enters the Vic followed shortly after by Pete who grabs Dot and pins her up against the wall. Tony and Arthur restrain Pete pinning him to the floor as Pauline begs him to stop.
