Short-term memory enhancement was a Force ability that allowed an individual to 'replay' a recent memory in his or her head, gaining hyperaccuracy, and recalling a particular detail that was previously observed but not consciously remembered. Luke Skywalker was taught this power by Jedi Master Yoda. The ancient Jedi-turned Sith Lord Freedon Nadd also possessed this ability. So was former Sith apprentice of Lost Tribe of Sith Vestara Khai when using this technique recalled Allana Solo's face details.

  • Effect: Short term memory enhancement allows a Jedi to replay recent events in order to more carefully examine images and peripheral occurrences. Using the power, a Jedi can freeze images and even scan memory tracks to recall details that were seen but did not register consciously at the time of observation. How far back a Jedi can remember with this power is determined by the success of his control skill roll. Difficulty: Difficult

abstract
  • Effect: Short term memory enhancement allows a Jedi to replay recent events in order to more carefully examine images and peripheral occurrences. Using the power, a Jedi can freeze images and even scan memory tracks to recall details that were seen but did not register consciously at the time of observation. In game terms, this power can be used to alert a Jedi to information, items, other characters, or anything else that passed before his or her senses within a specific span of time. In addition, if a gamemaster provided clues or leads to clues that the players originally missed or ignored, this power can be used to recall them. When players get stuck on a puzzle or mystery within an adventure, this power can alert them to possible solutions, if those solutions were observed earlier in the adventure. How far back a Jedi can remember with this power is determined by the success of his control skill roll. If the skill roll beats the Difficulty by 0-8, the user's memory extends back the past month. If the skill roll beats the difficulty by 9-20, the user's memory extends back two months. If the skill roll beats the difficulty by 21 or more, the user's memory extends back at least three months. Difficulty: Difficult
