Wednesbury is a town in Sandwell Metropolitan Borough in the West Midlands. Wednesbury is known to have had two tower blocks built in the 1960s, one being Russell House, which still stands by the town centre. Another block, on the Friar Park estate and built in a similar style to that of the majority of tall blocks in nearby West Bromwich, was demolished in the early 2000s.
