Victor Vasquez is a former soldier in the battle against the takeover of Cuba by Fidel Castro. In 1961 he along with other commando soldiers worked on a plan with Fed agent Jack Slade during the Bay of Pigs invasion. However Slade failed to come through with air support for an operation resulting in loss of commando lives, so Vasquez filed a complaint with the Feds trying to get Slade fired.
