The Igi clan was a samurai clan that became a noble house thanks to a marriage with the Tsu family in Miyama Province in Kozakura in 1357 DR. They controlled the mokudai position and tried to acquire as many zussho positions as possible. They cared almost nothing about the shogun and shikken, and concentrated their efforts only in Miyama.
