Force Redirection was a rare Force power that allowed the user to redirect blaster bolts without the use of a lightsaber or similar tool. In doing so, it also decreased the shot's power. Traeh Habat was a known user of this power, which he used to save the life of his best friend, Zytiuk Meoi. A turbolaser fired a final shot at the LAAT Meoi and Habat were escaping in, and was well-placed, setting it straight on a collision course. Using every ounce of his energy, Habat was able to redirect the shot away from the ship, however the bolt hit himself. He was killed instantly, but also prolonged the life of his best friend for over twenty more years.
