Say Yay was the Spanish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 performed by Barei. It is the first song in the country's contest history to be performed in English, gaining controversy in Spain because of that. As a member of the Big Five, Spain was automatically qualified for the final and Barei previewed her song during the first semifinal along with the songs from France and host country Sweden. In the final, it was performed 19th following Russia and preceding Latvia. At the close of voting, it finished in 22nd place with 77 points, despite being seen as a fan favorite.
