- Since the furniture there has no owner, grave-robbers might take a few items for their homes or resell (except, disappointingly, for the unaligned altar). A performer looking for an instrument can find a horn lying on one of the graves. Because the graveyard is treated as a static location, the furniture will not respawn, so don't accidentally burn down the altar hoping to get an unaligned one. - Knuckles is having to visit the one place he never wanted to visit - the Kohenyu Graveyard. Unfortunately, he has no choice as he needs a new Master Emerald. With unpredictable winds and no zoom tubes, Knuckles has to glide down, armed with a gas mask and a poncho. Unfortunately, a rockfall sends him crashing to the ground, right next to a poison dryalid that chooses this moment to spray Knuckles with poisonous spores. He tries to resist breathing in the toxins, but he starts to hallucinate the image of a giant Kohenyu head. The "Spirit of the Herd" demands to know why Knuckles is here but does not believe his answer and summons the skeleton of his fallen kin to rise up and attack.
- Many Alderaanian Exiles performed a private ceremony called the Returning, wherein they would shoot capsules filled with gifts for their friends and family. Some Alderaanians, who called themselves the Guardians, took to patrolling the Graveyard to prevent pirates from stealing the capsules. These Alderaanians were held in rather high regard among the exiles. The asteroid field was the site of a brief battle in which Renegade Squadron took a holocron that had survived Alderaan's destruction.
