The 2005 edition of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl featured two top 10 ranked teams. The ninth ranked Miami Hurricanes battled the tenth ranked LSU Tigers in this contest, the last to be played as the Peach Bowl. In the third quarter, Addai scored on a 6 yard touchdown run extending the lead to 27-3. Jacob Hester's 1 yard touchdown run gave the Tigers a 34-3 lead. In the fourth quarter, Mario Stevenson and Chris Jackson kicked field goals to give the Tigers the 40-3 win.
