abstract	Crisan Kenobi Solo or Darth Verraeter was a male human/Chalactan and a former Jedi Knight. He became a Sith Lord after having a disagreement with his Master and formed a new cult named Der Hintergedanke. He was the husband of Darth Hehreins and the father of both Jeeane and Shawnel Kenobi Solo. An heir to the Kenobi Solo name, he proved to be the only one known who fell to the dark side, besides Destrum Kenobi Solo. His actions would prevent future Kenobi Solos—not to mention many other Jedi—from choosing his path. His life was deliberately manipulated by his seemingly dead ancestor Nathaniel Kenobi Solo, although Verraeter did not find out until the end. After forming the cult Verraeter would end up attacking the Mandalorians, gaining him their respect and allegiance; forming a non-aggression pact with the Evtcisite Empire; taking control over thousands of Outer Rim star systems without the Fourth Republic noticing; annexing Hutt Space into the cult's territory; initiating takeovers of Republic space; and even killing his former Master. He eventually conquered the majority of the Fourth Republic, but infighting soon developed between old allies and Verraeter was betrayed by his most trusted adviser: Finster der Alchimist. The two fragmented the Der Hintergedanke into two warring factions, allowing the Republic and the Jedi to stage a comeback. His fear of losing and dying led him to create many designs and machinations which eventually landed him on a search for the Deathworld, where he would unearth a dire threat to the Galaxy, and Verraeter would seemingly end his life for the safety of his family, but, in truth, he found a new life with a group of Jedi and would return with them to fight the Reavers later on. Verraeter's impact on the Galaxy was felt for thousands of years after his supposed death, even well into the Reaver War.
